01Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use TaskSync. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement and have the authority to agree to these Terms, including on behalf of an organization if you're signing up as an Employer.
02Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us immediately (Section 17). Keep your account information accurate and up to date.
03Teams & data ownership
An Employer can create a Team and invite Employees to join. Within a Team: the Employer is responsible for the lawfulness of inviting Employees, assigning tasks, and collecting any information from Employees through TaskSync, including identity verification documents. Task content created within a Team belongs to the Employer for operational purposes, subject to applicable employment and data protection law. Employees are responsible for the accuracy of what they submit.
If you join as an Employee, your Employer can see tasks assigned to you, your task activity, and — only where they've enabled it — your identity verification documents.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use TaskSync for anything unlawful
- Upload content that's fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share
- Try to access another user's account, another Team's data, or our underlying systems without authorization
- Reverse engineer or decompile the app, except where the law explicitly allows it
- Harass or harm another person through TaskSync
- Upload malicious code or interfere with normal operation
- Misrepresent your identity or your authority to act for an organization
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
05Identity documents
Where an Employer enables identity verification, Employees may be asked to upload an Aadhaar card, PAN card, and a photo. By uploading, you confirm the documents are genuine, accurate, and belong to you. Uploading someone else's documents without authorization is strictly prohibited and may lead to termination and, where applicable, a report to relevant authorities.
06Browser & device requirements
The web app requires a modern browser with JavaScript and local storage enabled. Some features — camera capture, microphone recording, push notifications — depend on permissions your browser or device requests on first use, and on hardware being available. Performance may vary by browser, device, and connection quality, and we can't guarantee identical behavior across every combination.
07Notifications
TaskSync may send push notifications or browser notifications, and may schedule on-device alarms, to alert you about assignments, deadlines, and overdue tasks. You can manage these permissions in your browser or device settings, though doing so may reduce how reliably you're alerted to time-sensitive tasks.
08Subscriptions & payment
TaskSync is currently free, with no payment processing and no billing data collected. If paid plans are introduced later, billed in Indian Rupees (INR), specific pricing and billing terms will be shown at the point of purchase and incorporated into these Terms by reference.
09Intellectual property
TaskSync — its design, features, logos, and underlying software — is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't transfer any ownership to you. You keep ownership of what you upload, and grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it solely to provide TaskSync's functionality to you and your Team.
10Third-party services
TaskSync relies on third-party infrastructure (authentication, file storage, notification delivery) to function. We're not responsible for outages or issues these providers cause that are outside our control.
11Disclaimers
TaskSync is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation, or that every notification and alarm will fire with perfect reliability — this can depend on your browser, device settings, operating system behavior, and network conditions, all outside our control. TaskSync shouldn't be your sole method of tracking critical, time-sensitive obligations.
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, TaskSync and its officers, employees, and agents aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunity arising from your use of TaskSync, even if we've been advised such damages were possible.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions don't allow excluding certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of TaskSync, or content you upload — including identity documents submitted without proper authorization.
14Termination
You can stop using TaskSync and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably practical. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and indemnification survive termination.
15Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of TaskSync, and may update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the revised Terms.
16Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [New Delhi, Delhi], and you consent to that jurisdiction.
